Lakewood Ranch Hospice House

The location of hospice houses within each Tidewell community helps ensure that patients remain close to home and family. As the Lakewood Ranch area continues its transformation from farmland to one of the nation’s fastest-growing master-planned communities, Tidewell’s plan for an eighth hospice house will offer the convenience of a centrally located house for East Manatee County patients and families.

Plans call for a 12-bed, 14,810-square-foot facility near the corner of Lakewood Ranch Boulevard and Rangeland Parkway. Tidewell has recognized the need for future growth with the design of the new hospice house. There is space dedicated on both sides of the hospice house to add a total of 12 beds to create a 24-bed facility.

The presence of a hospice house will enhance Tidewell’s engagement with Lakewood Ranch and East Manatee County beyond the unparalleled care its residents will receive. There will be convenient opportunities for those who would like to volunteer. Additionally, Tidewell offers free grief counseling to all members of the community, whether or not their departed loved ones were Tidewell patients.
